Biden Plans to Relax Pollution-Limiting Rules: A pullback on the new Environment Protection Agency (EPA) rules is being planned to give carmakers more time to manufacture zero-emission vehicles. The EPA rules would have forced the industry players to turn EVs into their main business by 2032.
Apple Faces a €500M fine in the EU: Apple is being fined a whopping €500 million for reportedly stifling competition and promoting Apple Music on iPhone. A 2019 Spotify complaint to some EU regulators said Apple prevented apps from showing users cheaper alternatives to Apple Music.
The actual fine charged was $40 billion, which isn’t even the first for Apple!

MIT Brings Liquid Metal 3D Printing Technique: Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) researchers have developed a new kind of 3D printing using liquid metal. The additive manufacturing technique can print large-scale parts such as table legs and chair frames rapidly in a matter of a few minutes.
The researchers 3D printed components for a portable mass spectrometer, sensors for satellites, and self-heating microfluidic devices to detect diseases.

SpaceX Has Plans For 4 Starship Launchpads: SpaceX has plans for four Starship launch pads, two in Texas and two in Florida. For the same, SpaceX wants to take over Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, one of the largest launch pads, from its rival United Launch Alliance (ULA) after its Delta IV Heavy rocket launch.
EU to Become a Mercury-free Region Soon: The Council and European Parliament reached a provisional political agreement to do away with the use of dental amalgam and ban the manufacture, import, and export of mercury-added products. Given mercury’s harmful impact on the human body, EU policies are focusing on phasing out the remaining uses of mercury in the EU.
Miruku Gets $5M in Series A Funding: Miruku, a New Zealand-based food tech company, will expand its crop development efforts from the funding. This also includes a partnership with CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization), the Australian government agency responsible for scientific research.
EV Startup Fisker Faces Probe: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has opened a second probe into Ocean SUV by EV startup Fisker. The probe comes after the agency received four complaints about the vehicle rolling away unexpectedly. The first probe concerned ‘sudden loss of braking performance.’
Biometrics Expanding to Airports: Biometric technology is expanding at airports worldwide. The technology could help do away with time-consuming airport rituals like security screening, bag checks, etc., and help reduce waiting time for travelers.

Today, Apple's website remains one of the most visited globally, serving as a central hub for showcasing its innovative products and connecting with millions of users worldwide.
The site looked like a newsletter and today it’s being featured in a newsletter, ironic and cool, isn’t it?
